Due to the vast scope of our inventory & varying supply chain issues, we do not list our complete physical inventory online.
If you are looking for a specific product or a suggestion on a tool for a specific purpose, please reach out to us directly via email or give us a call during regular business hours. We are always happy to process orders via phone to ensure that you receive the service and product selection for which we are known. We strive to achieve the highest quality customer service and work very hard to provide a positive and satisfying shopping experience.
It depends. If it's a jewelry, lapidary, or rock-hounding tool, you're welcome to bring it by our shop located at 2745 N 1st Ave. If Kent is available, he will assess the quality & condition and if he's interested, make you an offer. For entire lots & estates of lapidary or metalsmithing tools as well as larger equipment, we recommend sending some photos and a general description to kent@kentstools.com. Please include your contact number in your inquiry. Kent will reach out if he is interested.
If your inquiry is about any other kind of tool (industrial, construction, mechanical, etc.), take it to Tucson Tool Shop, 133 E Grant Rd. The Grant Road location is no longer named Kent's Tools - it is under new ownership and now called Tucson Tool Shop. They can be reached at (520) 624-8098.
Given that our focus is more on tools than minerals, we may be able to make a tentative identification, but we're not professional gemologists.
We can, however, refer you to local experts who specialize in different minerals & gemstones, including meteorites.
We are happy to be a resource in referring you to local rockhounding & prospecting organizations. A variety of local clubs meet regularly for expeditions all over the Southwest. You're in the right place!
1-3 business days processing time for orders to ship out. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and any loss in value if an item isn't returned in original condition.
In-Store Purchases on New Items
Returns & Exchanges are eligible for reimbursement or store credit within 30 days of purchase date and based upon the following criteria:
- Original purchase receipt(s), including Credit Card payment receipts, are required.
- All accessories and packaging are present in the original, undamaged condition.
- Reimbursements are issued in the original form of payment, to the same Credit Card whenever possible.
In-Store Purchases on Used Items
All used items with motors or electrical components have been tested for functionality and are sold in "Fair" to "Like New" condition. Returns & Exchanges are eligible for partial to full reimbursement or store credit within 30 days of purchase based upon the following criteria:
- All accessories and components that were included at the time of purchase must be present and in similar condition as received.
- Original purchase receipt(s), including Credit Card payment receipts, are required for all Returns.
- Reimbursements are issued in the original form of payment, to the same Credit Card whenever possible.
- Any remaining Balance on Exchanges will be issued as Store Credit and will be kept on file for one year from the date of the Exchange.
- All sales on items marked "CLOSEOUT" are As-Is and Final.
Website Orders
Buyers must submit Return requests directly to Kent@kentstools.com or via phone during business hours, within 14 days of purchase.
All Return requests must include:
- The associated Kent's Tools Order Number.
- The Purchaser's full name & contact information, including phone number.
- A detailed description (with Item Number, if possible) of the Item requesting to be returned.
- Reason for Return.
Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and any loss in value if an item isn't returned in original condition, including all accessories and original manufacturer packaging.
Returns will be processed and remitted to the original payment account within 5 business days of our receipt. Kent's Tools is not responsible for any delay or hold on funds by your financial institution.
All Returns and Exchanges are subject to final approval by Kent & Salle.
Your personal information is important - to you and to us. We will not share your information with any company, agency or anyone. We will only use it to send you a tracking number of your shipment and if you requested, a newsletter twice a year. We do have an email list but emails go out maybe 4 times a year about sales we have throughout the year.
